| Bio: | Why are we all girls? It's a question for the ages, seriously. I ship Sam/Dean, McShep, and the ubiquitous but still v. v. hot House/Wilson (come on, who really believes those two aren't doing it? - and this is the only ship where my muse isn't dead as a doornail). I read others, but not devotedly. Strangely, though I'm attracted to women, I don't ship a single f/f pairing. Not one. I will read well-written het occasionally, but only if the author is very good and can actually sell me the pairing - and even then I'm not devoted to any one pairing (and House/Cameron TOTALLY squicks me, even if I thought the kiss was kinda hot). Why I'm a slasher: 1. M/M slash is HOT. Maybe this is some weird kink on my part, but I don't think so. Maybe m/m slash erotica is to the female what f/f porn is to the male. At any rate, m/m slash makes me happy in my pants. 2. M/M slash is generally better written than het or femslash. In most fandoms, seems to me the really good writers gravitate toward a m/m pairing. I tend to follow them because it makes for entertaining reading. Anyway, so that's about all. | |||||
